Found footage films are now the cliched films of the 21st century. But there are those few good gems that come out every year or so. It started with the first real found footage film The Blair Witch Project (not including Cannibal Holocaust), and after that there was a little break. Paranormal Activity and Cloverfield re-initiated the love for these movies. After those movies there was an explosion of horrible shit-ridden found footage films i.e. Paranormal Activity 2&3, Apollo 18, The Devil Inside, Zombie Diaries, REC, Quarantine, Project X, and World of the Dead: Zombie Diaries. But there are those few ones who slip the cliched crap lining of the precedence set forth by those movies, like the new found footage movie V/H/S. When I first heard about this movie it seemed like it would be just another not so good found footage movie, but then I watched the trailer.(http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YcMzDqWuDZg) I have not been this scared watching a trailer since I saw the trailer for Insidious. I watched this movie this weekend and I was proved right… THIS MOVIE IS SCARY AS SHIT!!!! I really think that this is one of the greatest horror films of the past 50 years NO LIE! I would recommend this film to any horror movie fan in the world. This was directed by 6 different directors who miraculously mix the amazing art of horror into one film. You must watch this!
